Amazon PPC management — Sponsored Products, Brands and Display

Most Amazon accounts are not losing money on strategy. They are losing it on search terms nobody has read in four months, campaigns bidding against each other, and a bulk file that has not been touched since launch.

What you get

This is the service with the longest track record. Two supplement brands, 22 months, $3.63M in managed spend and $18.7M in attributed sales at a 5.16x blended ROAS.

From $1,200/mo or 8% of ad spend — full pricing on the pricing page.

Structure before bids

A bid change on a badly structured account moves the ACoS for two weeks and then it drifts back. The first thing we do is separate the account by intent: exact-match campaigns for proven converters, phrase and broad for discovery, auto campaigns as a research feed only, and Sponsored Brands and Display doing jobs that Sponsored Products cannot. Once the structure is right, bid work compounds instead of oscillating.

Search-term mining every week

The search-term report is the account. Every week: pull the report, promote converting terms into exact-match, negate the terms burning spend with no conversions, and check which ASINs are being served against irrelevant queries. This is unglamorous and it is where most of the ACoS improvement actually comes from.

Bulk files, not the console

Everything above a handful of changes runs through bulk files. It is faster, it is auditable, and it means a bad change can be reverted in one upload rather than clicked back one campaign at a time.

Targets tied to your margin

Before anything launches we agree on break-even ACoS from your real unit economics, then set target ACoS against it — aggressive on launch and rank-building ASINs, tight on mature ones. TACoS is the number we report on for the account as a whole, because it is the one that tells you whether ads are growing the business or just moving organic sales into paid.

FAQ

Amazon PPC — the questions we get asked

What size account is this for?

It works from roughly $10k/mo in ad spend upward. Below that the fee is a large share of the budget and you are usually better off with a one-time restructure plus a monthly audit.

Can I see the real numbers?

Yes — the two account reports on this site are the actual managed accounts, month by month, with spend, sales, ROAS, ACoS and TACoS. Nothing on those pages is illustrative.

How long before it improves?

Structure and negatives are in place inside the first two weeks. Meaningful ACoS movement shows up in weeks four to eight, once there is enough post-restructure conversion data for the bids to be based on something real.

Do you handle listings and creative too?

Listing copy and A+ content are not part of the PPC retainer, but bad listings cap what ads can do, so we flag them in the audit. Video creative for Sponsored Brands is a separate service on this site.
